2025 was our third year making grants and our first year after moving to the Wiregrass,, and as small as MWF is, we are mighty. Our kind, caring and expert Executive Director interviewed and processed 79 recipients of our low-barrier cash grants.
MWF's low-barrier cash grants totaled $195,244.80 for 2025. Grants for dental care, car repairs, utility arrears, gasoline, restitution, rental deposits, mattresses, educational testing fees, summer camp fees are just some of the ways our grants were used.
MWF has a benefactor who donates all the monies required for administration of our program. You can rest assured that every dollar YOU donate will go towards grants, not toward keeping the lights on. This is our promise to you, our special, caring, generous donors.
Join us in promoting healing and resilience in our community. We are so grateful for our donors who understand the needs of neighbors who have experienced trauma and who are struggling financially. Please consider giving at any level. We regularly reflect on whether our actions align with our core values and commitment to social good, even when difficult. We'd love you to join in the commitment.
